Imagine having a space in your home that is used solely to unwind after a long day. Creating a "sacred space" of your own will help you to slow down, relax, and breathe so that you're prepared to tackle life's problems with minimal stress.
Sound too good to be true? It shouldn't. To find the perfect sacred space in your home, try looking around and noticing what areas give you good vibes. For instance, that little window in your living room can feel really peaceful when the sun shines through. Or you can even find a space that isn't being used, like an extra storage or guest room.
Once you have picked your space, it is time to truly make it your own. Completely clean it out, so that you will be able to relax without staring at cobwebs or old toys. Next, gather up your favorite possessions-everything that brings you joy and peace. They can be any objects that stimulate your senses; a scented candle, a pillow, a picture, or even a rocking chair. Find things that would really help you to relax and be still for a little while.
When you're sacred space is all ready, it's time to put it to good use! Make sure that everyone in your house knows that corner or room is off-limits to everyone but you. This is a space where you can honor and protect yourself, so make sure that the area is calm and protected.
Of course, the hardest part of claiming your sacred space is finding the time to use it! You can squeeze in even just a couple of minutes before or after work, after dinner, or right before bed. You don't necessarily have to meditate, just try to clear your mind and take deep, cleansing breaths. Stillness is the objective here. Try not to focus on your to-do list or stressful things that happened during the day. Relax your body and relax your mind. For the workaholics and chronically-stressed among us, using your sacred space to decompress and recharge your batteries is a great way to add some peace into your day. No matter who you are, everyone can use a bit of space to call their own!

This sounds great and I will try it thanks.
