Do We Have Spirit Guides?

I like this article and yes I believe we have spirit guides.

I believe that life is circular and that when we die our spirites do not die. I believe that our ancestors are always there to guide and protect us. As a result I do not fear death because I will still live in spirite to protect my children, nieces, sisters and brother, nephews and loves ones.

I was on the fence also, and I picked up a book at the local bookstore about spirit guides. I did not share with anyone that I did this. I was talking to my friend about a job offer and I had been torn if I should consider the offer or not. My friend said ask your spirit guide. I look at her strange and said I can't believe you said that. She said you have to be specific when you ask and ask for a sign. So I thought what the heck. Her example was ask your guide to give you a sign (example - see a Hot Air Balloon) if you should not take the job and put a specific time frame on it. I laughed and said it is the Middle of Oct, don't think that would be a good request. So I did ask my guide to show me a Beautiful Butterfly over the weekedn if I was not to take the position. I live in Missour and in the Middle of Oct you do not see to many butterflies. So on Saturday I worked out in my yard for a while - and took a road trip up to Illinois. On my way back into town, I look up and there is 2 hot air balloons. I just laughed. I said well I guess I should of asked for hot air balloons. So the next day Sunday, I worked in my garden cleaning up the old flowers not really thinking of my request - of course no butterfly. My daughter came over to the house and said hey, lets go get a bite to eat. So we did. When I pulled up to the restraunt, I parked right in front of the bldg. My daughter said how do you always get these spots, I laughed and said oh my angels are watching out for me. We ate and when we came out I was getting into my card and I look down and there was this beautiful butterfly flying between my legs and around my feet. It was a Monarch Butterfly. Not common to this area. I reached down and touched the butterfly. It just sat on the ground. My daughter said I think you hurt it, I said I don't think so, and about that time the butterfly started flying around me and landed on the ground again. My daughter is majoring in photography and happened to have her camera with her. I said will you take a picture of this butterfly. She got out of the car and took this beautiful picture which is now hung in my bedroom. This butterfly stayed around me until I pulled away from the bldg. The as I looked into my rear view mirror, I saw it

Yes I do believe we have spirit quides, a medium told me mine is my father. When the clock shows equal no's { 3:33, 11:11} they are letting you know they are with you. I believe my Dad has helped me make a lot of right choices in my life

I would love to acknowledge that my father would be my spirit guide
also ... I have had so many signs that prove to me that someone is watching over me and my family.

I believe we all have sprite guides AND guardian angels AND helpfull loved ones. I believe that we choose our guides before we are born. When you need an answer to an important problem, quiet yourself and ask for guidance. If you listen you will hear them answer you. they will never stear you wrong.

I ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT WE HAVE SPIRIT GUIDE. I`M FOR ONE LOVE TO WATCH SYLVIA BROWNE AND I HAVE READ:CONVERSATIONS WITH THE OTHER SIDE( SPANISH). I HAD A FEW EXPERIENCES MYSELF. BUT THEN AGAIN MY SPIRITS ARE IN FORM OF ANGELS, I HAVE 4:SIMON & SABRINA, I DON`T HOW OR IF I KNEW BUT THE NAMES CAME TO ME ONE NIGHT.THE OTHER TWO I FEEL THEIR PRESENCE. I WILL LOVE TO TALK TO SYLVIA BY PHONE OR BETTER IN PERSON.I ALWAYS ADMIRE HER.

I wrote a blog on MySpace called, "You're Not Along". This is about spirit guides. Spirit is all about love and caring so therefore we have help dealing with everyday life here to remember why we are here at this time. Yes those instinctual feelings are probably your guides assisting.The Masters teach and assist in our growth while we are on Earth.
I channel several Masters as well as other beings that are not in this dimension.

i belive in the holy spirit, some times when i make a mistakes or for get somethingat work, i alway as him to help me, and the problem is solved, and i thank God for my helper, there have been so many times, ive mess up because i work such a stressful job, with some many people pulling at me, with damanding things, i every bodys secretary, but when i prayed, i feel stronger, and peaceful, when i for get, the holy spirit, always make a way for me, i feel like angels are watching over me al the time, helping me through each day.

Yes, I KNOW I have a spirit guide--he's called the HOLY Spirit, who is with us always if we profess Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. The Bible clearly states that He will never leave us or forsake us. "The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord." The Holy Spirit will guide us in decisions and protect us each day, each hour, each minute. Sometimes it does not seem like things are working out for us, but we cannot see the big picture like He does. We have to remember that God is still in control of all things, and yes, I do believe he sends angels to protect us, sometimes from ourselves! Praise God for His unbelievable, amazing love that never lets go of us!

I've heard of Spirit Helpers and Gaurdian Angels but I've never seen anything in the Bible about such helpers. I don't know why the topic is not covered there because in other Holy Traditions it is common. If they exist and want to help me in ways they think right, I have no objection, as long as they don't get too bossy, like everyone else I know. I have enough bosses. Thanks for inspiring me to consider this issue.

I would like to find out who my spirit guides are.

You guys don't get it. Spirit guides aren't passed on reletives, or a spirit telling you what to do or doing little favors for you. Those may just be coincidences or angels helping along the way. Your spirit guides are spirits just like your own giving you guidence along your path in life giving hints and suggestions and messages from above, giving you reassureances that your right where you are supposed to be. They are not bossy or try telling you what to do or not to do , they just guide you in hopes that your spirit is growing and making it's own decisions and doing whats right.

I believe we have a spirit guide his name is Holy Spirit he guides our every step or every day and lives inside of everyone if you believe Jesus Christ is truly LORD and he is. Just read the Holy bible and see if if he shows up in your life? He make him self known... Try it for your selves :>

We are so fortunate to have a God that love us so much that He would his only begottn son and whosoever believe that He died for their sin shall not perish in hell fire, but be saved from it.Also if in fact you are saved,then you should know that any good father will always direct his child in the way he should go.God bless yo heart.

Thank You for such a divine topic! I believe that there are spirits everywhere, we just cannot see them. If God were to unveil our eyes towards everything that is in this world, we would be on our knees day and night praying for protection against all evil. For if God is with us, who can be against us. Amen

This is very interesting. I've heard about spirit guides and am interested in learning more. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could know for sure that there were spirit guides around us.

I believe! Because of the life I've lead, there had to be an angel. I'm not proud of my past but God was there with me. I thank my g. angel everyday for his love and protection,an the fact that I am still here.

Spirit guides do indeed exist. For we are spirits as well. To think otherwise is ardruous. Our spirit guides are there for us at all times of needs. And it is quite comforting to know this. A NDE at a young age has allowed me to know that my spirit guide(s) will be there for me through anything that I encounter. They are gentle, loving and just a thought away. We are not alone. Fortunately ;)

i have always been a believer of spirit guides as they have played a major role into my life...i can feel them and see sometimes..making me sound wiered..but anyhow..
i know that everyone has..been assigned a spirit guide..it is being more open..for us to become aware that we do have a spirit guide..

The article and comments that I have just read has a person stepping back and pondering the real meaning about life...how did we get here, who wanted us here, and also WHY! I think there is some solid truth to every religion and I think if you could combine them all to make the puzzle pieces fit you would have the answer to life. Maybe it's the things that we can't see, but feel, that tries to guide us to fit the jig saw puzzle of life together.

As part of this divine creation, we are all interconnected. That interconnection is not limited to this material realm. There's a part of us that exists in the eternal (spiritual) and another part that expresses it's awareness in the physical (human) plane. We are all divine projections in an endless enfoldement of creations through which, "ALL THAT IS" (GOD) , explores new ways of being.

there are millions of people around the world whom i will never meet personally, through the internet, phone, t.v., the list goes on and on, like right now, as i am reading and learning about mind body sanctuary, thats who i considered my spirit guide, someone who is willing to share with me a better way of living to enhance my live and i can pass it on to someone else.
