Sarah Playtis, MSPT

Sarah Playtis, MSPT graduated from Ithaca College in 2000 with a masters in Physical Therapy and Science.  She has practiced since in orthopedic settings and in 2006 opened her private practice.  Sarah is also the co-owner of Mind Body Sanctuary a healing arts center in Fremont.

Sarah blends the science of physical therapy with many healing arts to treat holistically.  She has done extensive study and practice in Craniosacral therapy, Structural Integration assessment and treatment, Feldenkrais, Aston Patterning, Pilates, Lymphedema therapy, Integrative Restoration (I-rest) Yoga Nidra, Bowen therapy, Aromatherapy, Mindfulness practices and Vipassana meditation.

Sarah is a certified Jin Shin Do acupressurist and a yoga teacher through the 8 Limbs Yoga Center 200 hour training.

Jennifer Lewis, LAc/EAMP

Jennifer Lewis-Gosch, MTCM, LAc, founded Twelve Branches Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2004. She is a National Board certified diplomat (NCCAOM) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. A graduate of the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Jennifer holds a four-year Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In association with her studies at NIAOM and Bastyr University, Jennifer completed clinical internships at Harborview Medical Center, Mount St. Vincent’s, Su & Jin Family Acupuncture and NIAOM’s student clinics. Jennifer’s continuing education studies include training and certification in Acutonics® Healing, an energy-based non-invasive treatment utilizing precision calibrated tuning forks applied to acupuncture and acupressure points, as well as Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation.

Prior to completing her studies at NIAOM, Jennifer attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where she received a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian Studies. While at Lewis and Clark, Jennifer studied in China and Vietnam as part of an International study program. As a result of this program, Chinese medicine's philosophy of treating the whole body was introduced to her and proved impetus for Jennifer's pursuit of a career as a Chinese Medicine practitioner. Upon graduating from Lewis and Clark College, Jennifer returned to Asia where she spent three years living in Taiwan furthering her Chinese language studies.

Ashley Judah is a certified Usui Reiki Master Practitioner. She completed the first 2 levels of training in Atlanta, GA at the Wellspring Rejuvenation Center in 2014, and the third (Master level) at the Center for Power and Healing in Seattle, WA on February 2017. She is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals. After receiving her first Reiki session in 2014, Ashley saw first- hand the beautiful healing that comes from a session. Reiki is a wonderful stress reducer and helps to heal both physical and emotional issues.  Ashley also likes to incorporate the use of crystals and stones during the session, as they help to enhance healing and relaxation.  Ashley is passionate about helping her clients get the most out of a session, and customizes each session to fit the client.

Krista is passionately connected to her work, which is exemplifed by her loyal clientele who have trusted her with their care for two decades. Her specific and holistic approach to bodywork begins with getting to the root of her clients’ specific problems. She then listens to her clients’ stories of acute pain to see how it is systematically connected to their physical and emotional fabric. Krista incorporates mental and emotional techniques into her practice – Somatic Experiencing, Cranio-sacral work, wellness coaching, and energetic practices like Reiki are often part of her treatment. Ultimately, Krista strives to help her clients feel grounded and connected to their own bodies.
