Eight Treasures Qi Gong with Carrie Lafferty

Mondays 8:30 - 9:30 AM, starting in September!

This Qi Gong form is one of the oldest and famous Qi Gong forms dating back to the early 12th century. Originally developed for monks to address the joint problems they developed after long years of meditation. This is a simple yet powerful form designed to build strong bones, increase tendon flexibility, strengthen particular organ-energy systems and heal the seven emotions-anger, over-excitement, worry, sadness, fear, anxiety, depression.

Eight Treasures Qi Gong is an ancient Daoist form and when practiced enables the system to find a natural healthy harmony between mind, body and spirit.

In Daoist Medicine when energy flow is healthy and open, our mental, spiritual, and physical health and vitality are vibrant and strong! As we learn how to sense a clear Qi flow through ourselves, we manifest how to truly embody our interconnection between all of Life. These 6 sounds and movements each create a unique and specific resonance between our intentions and attention of how we move through life. All healing of disease or ‘dis-ease’ comes from keeping this vibrant Qi flow alive, truly felt, accessible and embodied in our daily actions.

Eight Treasures Qi Gong is a harmonizing form. Each movement can be practiced individually or together as a continued form.

Qi Gong is a practice–a conscious cultivation of wisdom derived from very specific study of the natural harmony of your movements with the movement of Nature. Choose to cultivate a healing practice now! No prior Qi Gong experience is necessary.

Reduce discomfort, increase efficiency, improve flexibility, balance and innovate your adaptability for moving through all moments in life.
