ABOUT NEW MOON CEREMONIES -

Since ancient times, the New Moon every month represents a time of death + rebirth, beginning a new cycle, allowing for a *pause point* in the busy-ness of our day to day, and generating tremendous power from the fertile void within the absence of La Luna's light.
The New Moon happens when the Sun + the Moon make a conjunction in the sky, and the Moon's light is swallowed by the light of the Sun.
This monthly (every 29.5 days) conjunction can be seen as the inner-marriage of our own solar + lunar energies, the union of our own masculine + feminine energies, and a time in which the "veils of separation" between the physical + non-physical realities are especially thin.
All in all, since ancient times - the days surrounding the New Moon is a time for *MAGIC* + *BEING IN COMMUNITY*
- In the days of old, nomadic women would enter what was known as THE RED TENT for several days around the New Moon every month, to bleed together + share the wisdom + power of the Divine Feminine mysteries.

We are currently completing the Piscean Age (which began about 2,000 years ago) and we are entering the Age of Aquarius!

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS -

Lead Priestess: Solana Chavez
Solana is an astrologer, tantrika, mystic, poet + the Creatrix of Wild Moon Spa. She has been a practicing Wiccan + student of astrology for over 20 years. She has received initiation upon initiation on the priestess path, and she continues to find that her own healing journey leads her more + more deeply into her purpose + her work in the world. Solana has been a practicing tantrika for almost 10 years, first initiated in classical tantra through Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of devotion) and Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound). These practices led her to the richness of Kundalini Yoga + White Tantra, as well as Sri Vidya + the Christ/Magdalene teachings. Simultaneously, Solana began practicing what is sometimes referred to as Red Tantra or NeoTantra in the West.
The meeting of White + Red Tantra within created the necessary eco-system for Solana to fully immerse herself in sexual healing + Shadow-Work since 2017. This full-spectrum immersion into tantric wisdom has gifted Solana with the awareness that tantra is simply the essence of Life Itself, existing within the core of every being, ever-available to all of us as the birthright of our own Power + Life Force Energy.

Emi is the sun. She is yogini, dancer, contortionist, and speech therapist, freely spreading light to any space she occupies. Her unapologetic, authentic self inspires the people around her to shine their own light. Of the many things she enjoys, some of her favorites are: laying healing hands on others, sharing eye gaze and breath, and gathering in ceremony with beautiful souls.
